ECOC, the largest optical communications exhibition in Europe, has been holding the industry awards for a number of years. The judging panel consists of global experts from the communications industry. These awards acknowledge the achievements of excellent products in driving the evolution of optical communication networks.

With comprehensive advantages in industry communication network scenarios, Huawei's OptiXtrans E6600 series products (Huawei E6600 for short) stood out from a host of products to win the ECOC's annual optical transport award. As the world's first series of products to support the fine-grain OTN (fgOTN) standard, the E6600 series products support multi-service transmission and the most comprehensive service cross-connections in the industry. With such capabilities, these products can be used to build highly secure, reliable, high-bandwidth, low-latency, flexible, and efficient communication networks for industries such as electric power and transportation, helping to drive intelligent transformation. Currently, the fgOTN service transmission capabilities and performance of Huawei E6600 series products have been verified by China Electric Power Research Institute and State Grid Shandong Electric Power Company, with results fully meeting the requirements of related standards in the electric power industry.
